SigSlayer Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the SigSlayer platform, including the SigSlayer website, application, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), provided by SigSlayer, Inc. (“SigSlayer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.


Enterprise Addendum

If you enter into a SigSlayer Enterprise Addendum (including a Data Processing Addendum and applicable EU Standard Contractual Clauses) (“Enterprise Addendum”), the Enterprise Addendum is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

In the event of a conflict, the Enterprise Addendum governs solely with respect to data protection and privacy matters.


1. Acceptance of Terms

You may use the Service only if:

  • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms
  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
  • You are authorized to bind the entity you represent (if applicable)

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.


2. Description of the Service

SigSlayer is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed to assist customers in preparing responses to vendor security questionnaires by:

  • Ingesting user-provided documents and structured data
  • Applying AI-assisted analysis, transformation, and suggestion workflows
  • Organizing, drafting, and exporting questionnaire responses

The Service does not provide legal, regulatory, compliance, audit, or certification advice, and does not guarantee compliance with any framework (including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, or similar).


3. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete account information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials
  • Promptly notify SigSlayer of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether authorized or not.


4. Customer Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy, completeness, and legality of all data, documents, and content you upload or submit
  • Ensuring you have all necessary rights, permissions, and lawful bases to provide such data
  • Reviewing, validating, and approving all outputs before use or disclosure
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, contractual obligations, and third-party requirements

SigSlayer does not verify the truthfulness or sufficiency of your responses.


5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service may generate content using artificial intelligence models.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated outputs are suggestions only
  • Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all outputs before use
  • SigSlayer makes no representations or warranties regarding AI outputs

You must not rely on AI-generated content as a substitute for professional judgment.


6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Customer Content

You retain all ownership rights to content you submit (“Customer Content”).

You grant SigSlayer a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to provide the Service.


6.2 SigSlayer IP

SigSlayer retains all rights, title, and interest in:

  • The Service
  • Software, workflows, prompts, models, and algorithms
  • Aggregated and anonymized learnings that do not identify you
  • Improvements not specific to your content

Customer Content is not used to train shared or public AI models.


7. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to protect the other’s confidential information using reasonable safeguards.

Confidential information does not include information that:

  • Is publicly available without breach
  • Was already lawfully known
  • Is independently developed
  • Is required to be disclosed by law (with notice where permitted)

8. Data Security and Privacy

SigSlayer maintains administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Customer Content, consistent with SOC 2 principles.

Use of the Service is subject to:

  • The Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy-policy)
  • Where applicable, the Enterprise Addendum (DPA + EU SCCs) (/legal/enterprise-addendum)

Each is incorporated by reference.


9. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes
  • Upload malicious code or exploit the Service
  • Attempt unauthorized access or bypass security controls
  • Reverse engineer or scrape the Service
  • Use outputs to misrepresent certifications, audits, or compliance status

Use of the Service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy (/legal/acceptable-use-policy).


10. Fees, Billing, and Taxes

  • Fees are billed in advance according to your subscription plan
  • All payments are non-refundable unless required by law or explicitly stated
  • You are responsible for applicable taxes
  • SigSlayer may change pricing with advance notice

Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.


11. Suspension and Termination

SigSlayer may suspend or terminate access if you:

  • Violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy
  • Fail to pay fees
  • Pose security, legal, or operational risk

Upon termination:

  • Access to the Service ends
  • Customer Content is deleted in accordance with applicable retention policies
  • Sections relating to IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification survive

12. Service Availability and Changes

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

SigSlayer may:

  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Perform maintenance
  • Experience downtime

No service level agreement is provided unless separately agreed in writing.


13. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGSLAYER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF OUTPUTS
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • COMPLIANCE OR CERTIFICATION OUTCOMES

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • SIGSLAYER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
  • TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO SIGSLAYER IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; those limitations apply only to the extent permitted.


15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SigSlayer from claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your Customer Content
  • Violations of law or third-party rights
  • Misrepresentations made using the Service

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Exclusive venue lies in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden, unless otherwise required by applicable law.


17. Changes to Terms

SigSlayer may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email.

Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


18. Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without prior written consent. SigSlayer may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.


19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and any applicable Enterprise Addendum, constitute the entire agreement between you and SigSlayer regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
